Students (and their supportive families) arrive at the post-high school planning process in different places. Some feel completely lost while others may have a strong handle on the process and just want some reassurance or clarity. After serving students and their families for 25 years as a professional public school counselor, I’ve retired and turn my focus to helping students and families fill the gaps they may find in this process. While there are pre-set packages, I am happy to work with students who may have other specific needs. Reach out if this is you and you don’t feel the pre-set packages are what you need.

Single Session

$120 - Student/Family choose the focus for a 50 minute session:

  • Developing a manageable list of colleges/schools & determining odds of admission

  • Fine tuning a college list to ensure goals are covered

  • Reviewing student essays for focus & content effectiveness

  • Reviewing student applications

  • Understanding the financial aid process & searching for scholarships (or if doing so would be fruitful)

  • Evaluating admission & scholarship offers

  • Comparing financial aid packages

  • Discussing options in order to make a decision

Multi-Session

$440 - Student/Family determines what four areas we will address over four sessions from spring of junior year to May of senior year:

  • Developing a manageable list of colleges/schools & determining odds of admission

  • Fine tuning a college list to ensure goals are covered

  • Reviewing student essays for focus & content effectiveness

  • Reviewing student applications

  • Understanding the financial aid process & searching for scholarships (or if doing so would be fruitful)

  • Evaluating admission & scholarship offers

  • Comparing financial aid packages

  • Discussing options in order to make a decision

Comprehensive Counseling & Consulting Package

$1000 - Starting as early as fall of Junior year through May of Senior Year, we will meet regularly to address the following:

  • Current goals & aspirations

  • Reviewing results of inventories & assessments

  • Developing a plan based on previous sessions

  • Developing a manageable list of colleges/schools & determining odds of admission

  • Fine tuning a college list to ensure goals are covered

  • Reviewing student essays for focus & content effectiveness

  • Reviewing student applications

  • Understanding the financial aid process & searching for scholarships (or if doing so would be fruitful)

  • Evaluating admission & scholarship offers

  • Comparing financial aid packages

  • Discussing options in order to make a decision
